- SolGent analyze customer supplied single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) using various technologies including sequencing, allele specific PCR, RFLP, SNaPShot, MassArray and SNP chip technologies.
- After SNP is defined, PCR setup process starts to find optimal PCR condition. Development of customer preferred PCR type product, which is conventional or real-time PCR type is accomplished. Customer can get developmental process report once or twice a week by email.
- Developed product could be supplied as customers needs such as ready- to-use or customized item only. All products are supplied with QC report and protocol.
Fig. 1 Leptin gene screening. Leptin gene is detected by multiplex PCR using SolGent™ h-Taq. Each of 5ul sample was loaded to 2% of agarose gel with 1kb DNA ladder as a size marker for analysis.
Fig. 2 ApoE gene genotyping. Human apolipoprotein E (ApoE) multiplex PCR was performed using Diastar™ 2X Multiplex PCR premix to detect polymorphisms of Cys 158Arg. 5ul of samples and 1kb DNA size marker were loaded to 3% agarose gel.
Fig. 2 MC1R 310G gene detection. Customized gene, MC1 310G gene by multiplex PCR was performed using Diastar™2X Multiplex PCR premix to detect allele A/T in chromosome 18g. 5ul of samples and 1kb DNA size marker were loaded to 2% of agarose gel for analysis.
